...we bought a house. Or a couple of bedrooms by Midwest standards. A "charming little bungalow" is what we call it in Southern California. It's been both a long and a short process, as well as a knee jerk and well-thought out reaction to the insanity of this last year. To make a long story short, Ben and I realized that we didn't have to leave L.A. in order for real life to begin and just decided to finally admit that we kind of like it here. I came across this article a few months ago that sums up my thoughts well. Forgive the light posting over the next few weeks (Who am I kidding? It's been light posting for the last few months!) - I've got some renovations to attend to. (That's homeowner talk for "I'll never have another weekend free again.").

Congrats! Please post pictures soon!
P.S. Our eye-opening introduction to home-ownership was more like this: (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091541/). We still affectionately call our full-of-character-and-attitude house 'The Money Pit.' However, it did turn 100 years old this summer!
