I've just made a (belated) wonderful discovery: Jim Sturgess. He plays Jude in Across the Universe (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0445922/) and is also one of the main characters in the new movie, 21 ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0478087/). He's got a lot going for him - looks, clearly, but also a good singing voice, and an accent. And we all know what a sucker I am for accents. But here's the kicker - most of my movie star crushes are based on the character, not the actor (i.e. Orlando Bloom as Legolas - he quickly lost his appeal once he stopped being an elf...but he did make a comeback as a dead pirate!). So, it remains to be seen if he can hold this celebrity crush position through his next film - you know, the one where he's not a hippy artist from the 60's singing some of my favorite Beatles songs.
Oh, another great find you should check out: Zooey Deschanel's cd, She & Him: Volume One. Charming!

So many great Jim's in the world :). And, although I couldn't make it through Across the Universe (it got a little too weird when they were all high in that field together...), I quite liked him as the lead.
I loved Orlando Bloom as Legolas as well!! It seems that we have similar tastes in male actors :)
ohshit that is one hot picture.
wasn't a fan of the movie, but a fan of HIM. and how he says "girl" in the song "i've just seen a face." mmmmm....
