FINALLY.

I felt it!
I was having dinner with my prayer group gals a few blocks from my house on Thursday, when two of them looked at each other and said, "Did you feel that?!" I hadn't, so went right along eating, thinking, "Wow. That must have been some kick for Tracy to have felt Becca's baby." (Becca's about 4 months pregnant or so.) But then I DID feel something. The whole apartment shook for a second or two and before I knew it, all my (native Californian) friends were under the table, so I followed suite, thinking, "Ummm...I'm pretty sure this table is not going to be helpful when the floor above us falls down and smashes us like pancakes." Luckily that was it for the shaking, so no need to test my theory. We stayed under the table for less than a minute before we felt confident the earthquake was over and then settled into our seats again to resume dinner and our chatter. Just another normal day, except...

I AM NO LONGER AN EARTHQUAKE VIRGIN!!!!
