As I type this, Ben and tif are on their way to the airport, after a fun-filled weekend of tea parties, shopping, and catching up. I don't think I realized how much I needed this break or how much I missed tif until it was actually happening and she was really here. When I hugged her good bye this morning, I held her an extra second and said, "Thank you for giving me an excuse to play!" Then I sent them off, calling after tif, "See you next week!" I love being able to say that. It makes my heart smile.

We didn't get any pictures at Jimmy Kimmel because they're camera Nazis, but did thoroughly enjoy Lilly Allen's outdoor concert...very, very mu-uch! With tif's creative influence, I dropped some pretty pennies at Ikea and have a few projects in mind that I want to do while I'm off this week to make my home more beautiful. She's good for that kind of thing. We didn't get a chance to make flower hair pieces (I really love the look of this and this), but maybe we can tackle that when Ben and I fly home next week. Next week!!!
