On both occasions that I've found myself at the Happiest Place on Earth, it has occurred to me that I experience it as such in part because I don't have kids with me. Because the Happiest Place on Earth somehow attracts the Brattiest Kids on Earth. And also, all the Whiny Kids, Spoiled Kids, Grumpy Kids, and Bad Attitude Kids. Thus, I have come to the conclusion that Disney is best enjoyed in the company of adults.
That is, this is what I thought until I stood by one little girl while watching Fantasmic last night. Perched on her dad's shoulders right behind me, it was hard not to grin ear to ear as I listened to her enthusiasm about the show. She must have been 3 or 4 and holy moly did she love Mickey and his entourage. Here's a clip of part of the spectacle, which I filmed solely for the purpose of capturing her excitement. Be careful - it's contagious!
So, maybe there are a few select children whom make Disney an even happier place. Maybe.

Count Nicolee as one! She was grinning ear to ear because the first person she met inside the magic kingdom was Cinderella! Her favorite princess! It was truly a joy to be with her in the land of 'waiting-in-line-for 2-plus-hours-just-for-a-49-second-ride'
That scream was AWESOME. :D
I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL MY NEXT DISNEY TRIP!!! (luckily, it won't be long!)
That's how I acted when I went to Disneyland two years ago....
