1) orientation at pre-internship site: I did a role play in which my client was a select mute. Awesome. Then we watched some training videos, circa 1980, to discuss counter-transference. One clip depicted a man who was attracted to the therapist. He said, and I quote, "I want to smell you...like animals!"
2) finalizing my internship site list: I will be sending applications to sites on both coasts and a smattering of places in between. I hope to spend a fortune on airline flights in January, as that will mean I have interviews at these sites.
Who's excited for this year?! Who's terrified about this year?!
