Last night Ben and I drove out to Ojai to celebrate a friend's engagement. While conversating and admiring the amazing house in which the party took place, Ben got a call from one of his best friends, Jake, who's getting married in a few weeks.
Jake: So, did you get measured for the tux?
Ben: What? What tux?
J: You know! The tux you need to get measured for out there so we'll have it ready back here when you fly in for the wedding.
B: Jake, I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't even know I was in the wedding.
J: What?! Of course you are! I know we had this conversation. You even asked if it would cost money since you wouldn't be renting a tux from the place you would be getting the measurements from. And I said it probably would cost something.
B: You had this conversation with someone else. This is the first time I'm hearing it.
J: Whatever. I know we had this conversation....
And on it went for another few minutes. And then continued today when Jake called again to see if Ben had his measurements yet.
Boys.

seriously? that is sooo typical... I love em' don't get me wrong... but details are soo overrated to them ALL! ;)
First of all, did they learn that trick from my husband??? He only picks up about 12% of the conversation.
Second of all, my Aunt lives in Ouji and that's the beach house we borrowed that one summer we visited. Beautiful city.
